Call for Writers: Free Writing Camp at Vindbyholtgård Residency
Former Residency artists—Irish poet Cherry Smyth and Ukrainian musician Make Like a Tree invite you to a free, creative Writing Camp.
Develop your craft, network with other writers, and refine your work in a beautiful setting.
Dates: Friday, August 28 – Sunday, August 30, 2026
Location: Vindbyholtgård, Vindbyholtvej 8, 4640 Faxe
Camp Schedule:
• Friday, August 28
o 6:00pm – 10:00pm: Welcome Meal
• Saturday, August 29
o 11:00am – 1:00pm: Writing Workshop with Cherry Smyth
o Lunch and networking
o 3:00pm – 5:00pm: Editing Session with Cherry Smyth
Sunday, August 30
o 10:00pm – 12.30pm: Performance Rehearsals
o Lunch and networking
o 2:00pm – 4:00pm: Public Showcase Event.
o Make Like a Tree will provide sound improvisations to accompany the public readings if desired and make recordings.
o Showcase followed by refreshments
