Art in Public Space Tyrol Open Call 2027
Under the thematic focus Performing Environments! Search for site-specific interventions in the public space of Tyrol 2027 that combine their physical environment with collective memories and subjective narratives through performance. The public space – whether rural or urban – should not only be understood as a stage, but also as a capable counterpart.
Whether gestures that accompany our everyday lives, shape realities and the public or activate places initially, the connection between performance and place can be formulated by a wide variety of artistic practices. For its annual programme, the Förderschiene Kunst im öffentlichen Raum Tirol invites artistic interventions, performances and sound works to open up new perspectives on the interplay of body, space and identity and to renegotiate public space as a lively, multi-voiced space of experience.
