€20,000 fellowship for curators developing photography/image-based exhibition projects
How it works:
Two stages – research, then production (if approved)
€5,000 for 6-month research period (copyright, expenses, development)
€15,000 production budget if project gets greenlit for Rencontres d’Arles program
Production covers: loans, shipping, printing/framing, curator travel, artist expenses during opening, insurance. Festival covers scenography, installation, security
Your role:
Research and develop project (6 months)
Submit feasibility note to Rencontres d’Arles
If approved: curate exhibition, write text, select works, be present at opening week
Who can apply:
Exhibition curators, collectives welcome
All nationalities
