Video Art Screening Nasenrücken Open Call:
Nasenrücken is a video art club that regularly showcases works by artists from around the world, as well as from the Ruhr region, where we are currently based. Our program is dedicated to exploring the phenomena of contemporaneity—those forces that pierce through our daily lives and shape the world we inhabit.
Open Call: Video Works Exploring Food
We are looking for video works that explore food in all its social, cultural, and anthropological dimensions. Food is not only an everyday necessity but also an important cultural practice that shapes our relationships with other people and the world around us. It is connected to communication, memory, identity, tradition, and social difference, yet its familiarity often makes it go unnoticed.
