UK Art Award

The Liberty Speciality Markets Art Award aims to elevate talented graduate artists by providing funding, training, exhibition and sales opportunities within a comprehensive two-year programme.

Selected participants will each receive £1,000 for their work being exhibited in Liberty’s London office in the iconic Walkie Talkie building in Fenchurch Street, as well as the opportunity to sell their work.
The artists will take part in a comprehensive professional development programme led by art industry experts. The programme will culminate in an award ceremony in Spring 2028, where prizes totaling £7,500 will be awarded to selected winners.

Participants will start the programme in September 2026, which is open to students who graduated in 2025 and 2026 from across the UK.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Entries may include any medium including, moving image, sculpture, photograhy, print, paint, textile.
Exhibits must be available throughout the 2 year period and must be original, the artist’s unaided work.
Please be aware the work will be shown in a corporate setting and artists should be sensitive to any subject matter that may be inappropriate.

There are no size or weight restrictions within reason.

3D work should be stable and safe to exhibit.

ARTIST BENEFITS
Each of the selected artists will be given:

A £1,000 participation fee
A contribution to travel expenses
An opportunity to exhibit work at Liberty’s office in Central London from September 2026– August 2028
Collection of selected works and return of works
Insurance of works whilst on exhibition at Liberty’s offices and in transit.
Access to a comprehensive professional development programme including four one to one sessions between September 2026 – July 2028
An opportunity to be awarded one of the prizes: £3,500 Liberty Expert Judges prize, £2,500 Purchase Prize. £1,500 Broker Choice Prize
