The Kunstpreis of the Kunsthalle Hochschwarzwald Foundation is granted annually alternately in the categories “Final Art” (with a focus on print art) and “Performing Art”. It will be awarded for the first time in 2026 in the category “Fine Arts”.
Three of the submitted applications will be awarded, with the
first prize being endowed with 1,500 euros,
the second prize with 1,000 euros and the
third prize with 500 euros.
In addition, the award winners will receive a grant of 500 euros for the arrival and exhibition of their works or the implementation of an event in the Kunsthalle Hochschwarzwald Wieden as part of the award ceremony.
Assessable applications are digital portfolios (incl. CV and contact details) in PDF format, a maximum of 20 pages, as a coherent document showing the artistic work that is capable of exhibition or performance.

Applicants receive a confirmation of receipt, there is no legal claim to the receipt of the art prize, which will be awarded in November of each calendar year. The participation includes the consent of the applicant to carry out an exhibition or event in the Kunsthalle Hochschwarzwald Wieden.
