Summer Exhibition Call

JANUS – Museum of Contemporary ArtOpen call: Artists’ Summer Exhibition 2026. The Artists’ Summer Exhibition now opens for registration: 1 March – 12 April 2026 at JANUS – Museum of Contemporary Art

The Artists’ Summer Exhibition, also called KS, is a censored exhibition that shows a qualitative section of all genres in the field of visual arts. The exhibition has been held in Tistrup since 1973 and is among Denmark’s oldest of its kind. From 2026, KS has turned into a triennial – it returns every three years.

The Artists’ Summer Exhibition (KS) is one of the few censored exhibitions in Denmark that has managed to be recognized and accepted as a points-giving to BKF (the Danish Association of Visual Artists).

As a censored exhibition, KS in JANUS is in good company with, among other things. The spring exhibition at Charlottenborg and the Artists’ Easter Exhibition in Aarhus.

Registration: Anyone can register works, regardless of nationality and previous exhibitions.

Registration takes place digitally via the website, ks.vardemuseerne.dk and further information about the exhibition can also be found here.
