IKOB – Museum für Zeitgenössische Kunst
Open call / Artist residency. In collaboration with Borderland Residencies, IKOB – Museum für Zeitgenössische Kunst launches an open call for a three-month artist residency in East Belgium (1st September – 30th November 2026) for an artist with a connection to North-Rhine Westphalia, Germany. We are looking for proposals that seek to use this time and space to develop a project on the theme of PERIPHERY.
The call invites proposals that question the dichotomy between so-called centers and peripheries and engages with the peripheral as an artistic method or strategy.
The residency offers the opportunity for an artist to broaden their practice through the development of new research and production and to expand their network as part of the Borderland Residencies framework. We are looking for an artist who can benefit from this specific opportunity and context.
