Galleri Format invites artists working in the broad field of photography to apply to the open call for the sixth edition of our Window Exhibition.
The exhibition will take place in the gallery’s large windows which face onto Stora Nygatan beside Gustav Adolf Torg in Malmö, Sweden during the period 12June – 9 August 2026.
The exhibition proposal should be adapted to fit the gallery’s windows with the public street and its passing foot traffic as the target audience.
Gallery Format will cover production costs and an exhibition fee will also be paid in accordance with the MU agreement.
Galleri Format focuses on contemporary photography, video and film,
applicants should be sure that their proposal fits these criteria.
Applications should be submitted in the form of a PDF (max. 10 MB)
containing the following:
• An exhibition proposal containing a description, potential image material
and/or a sketch (Galleri Format is closed for the summer between June
14 and August 21, so the proposal must be viewable from the street)
• CV and a short artists bio.
• Portfolio (optional, max 3 pages)
