France <-> Germany project call

The PERSPEKTIVE fund, initiated in 2014, is a cooperation between the Office of Fine Arts of the Institut français Deutschland and the Goethe-Institut. It enables the development of cooperative and transnational artistic initiatives between German and French scenes and thus promotes an enriching European dialogue. The fund supports institutions and cultural workers who implement binational cooperation projects, i.e. develop joint projects that include a presentation in France and a presentation in Germany.

The projects can take the form of exhibitions, but also conferences, symposia, hiking workshops, which can differ in their form in both countries. Participatory formats such as festivals, performances or mediation projects initiated by artists or cultural artists are also invited to apply.

This call for proposals from the PERSPEKTIVE Fund is primarily aimed at cultural and artistic structures (museums, art centres, art halls, art associations, etc.). But also theorists:inside, critics, independent, established or emerging curators based in France or Germany are called upon to apply. It is central that the projects are carried out in cooperation and presented in both countries. The projects are reviewed by a jury of experts. The selected projects must be implemented between February and December 2026.
