EYEBEAM OPEN CALL: WHAT KIND OF PROJECTS ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for work that engages this year’s theme of AGENCY as a lens, and that fits Eyebeam’s focus on artists making radical, independent work about the way technology shapes our lives.
We welcome critical and creative approaches to questions around the social and material structures through which agency is exercised.
MIGHT INCLUDE PROJECTS THAT:
* Ask what it means to act when AI systems increasingly act on our behalf.
* Question power and autonomy in relationship to technological systems.
* Understand agency as collective, relational, entangled and more-than-human.
* Reimagine AI systems through collective governance, repair, rehearsal or mischief
* Repurpose technology toward the pursuit of new tools, methods or models for the public good
* Engage the topic of AI directly, or not at all
