This year, we will celebrate the 69th DOK Leipzig edition from 26 October to 1 November 2026. Our call for films is now open and we’re looking forward to receiving your latest documentary and animated films!
DOK Leipzig (Germany), held every autumn, is unique among festivals worldwide in offering a combination of documentary and animated film. During the week-long festival, we show about 250 short and long films and extended reality (XR) works in Leipzig.
We’re looking for:
-documentary and animated films
-of any length
-produced in 2025 or 2026
-that have not been shown publicly before 1 October 2025
