Bibliothek Andreas Züst – Studio Residency – Oberegg, Switzerland. A Six-week residency for duos or collectives (up to 5 people) exploring libraries, archives, and cultural knowledge

Residency period: July 22 – August 30, 2026

What’s included:
Private bedroom for each resident
Shared studio and quiet work areas across Alpenhof
Accommodation and meals
Travel costs covered
Optional living-cost subsidy up to CHF 750

Location:
Alpenhof, a mountain lodge at 1,110 m with views over the Rhine Valley and Lake Constance – a quiet setting for research, exchange, and focused work

Focus:
Projects that engage with the library or its sub-collections, especially research on cultural fabric, knowledge systems, and what lies outside them

Who can apply:
Duos and collectives (max 5 people)
National and international cultural workers from all disciplines – visual arts, literature, sound, architecture, design, new media, theatre, photography, film, and related fields.
