Call for Submissions: 3rd Annual ANSEA Awards
Animation Nation has launched its third annual ANSEA Awards, with submissions now open via FilmFreeway for original animation works from aspiring and professional animators across all ASEAN member states.
Organized by the Singapore Film Society, Animation Nation is Singapore’s longest-running animation festival, each year showcasing, celebrating and elevating Southeast Asian animation talent, offering creators a launchpad for international exposure.
“We are incredibly proud to see the ANSEA Awards enter its third year as a vital bridge for Southeast Asian animation talent,” said Michael Lim, Festival Director at Animation Nation. “By connecting our region’s brilliant visual storytellers, we continue to foster a thriving creative ecosystem and bring authentic ASEAN perspectives to the global stage.”
Entries are being accepted online through the official FilmFreeway page. Shortlisted finalists will be announced ahead of the festival, culminating in a dedicated ANSEA Awards finalist screening and announcement during Animation Nation 2026, which runs November 20-29.
