AIR Romainville Proposal Call

Fondation Fiminco

Fondation Fiminco launches an open call for visual artists across all disciplines to under-take a residency in Romainville (Seine-Saint-Denis). This residency will be focused on research and development as well as production.

The residency is aimed at artists residing in France or abroad, without an age limit, who can demonstrate a professional practice, either emerging established.

Offered by the residency:

Technical Support
Production assistance of up to 4,000 euros Tax included, for the duration of the residency is allocated to artists on proof-of-purchases and with the supervision of the production team.

The Fondation will organise meetings with professionals from the art world, curators, collectors, gallery owners, museum associations, journalists and art critics, notably at open studios.

Each resident artist will have a furnished studio, between 20 and 25 m2, with a bathroom and internet connection. Residents share communal kitchens and living spaces.

Two types of workshops will be available to artists-in-residence: collective workshops, shared between several artists, and production workshops, dedicated to specific artistic mediums.
Conceived as a place open to all, Fondation Fiminco offers artistic events throughout the year (exhibitions, performances, lectures, art history courses…) that are free and aimed at a diverse audience. The program aims to raise awareness of contemporary art and to create encounters with artists, to understand their environment, views, and creative processes
