Bodies, Arts, Technology Proposal Call

POSTHUMANLY SPEAKING IV – 2026
Bodies, Arts, Technologies.
Posthumanely speaking is a space open to the artistic-academic community around posthumanist approaches, whose first 3 meetings took place at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Santiago between 2023 and 2025. This fourth edition will take place in the Replica Gallery in Valdivia, and is intended for artists, researchers and researchers from different disciplines.

We invite the community to present emerging proposals at the artistic and research level around three curatorial lines:

Interfered Intelligences: Dedicated to exploring artistic practices that problematize and expand the uses of artificial intelligence in the creative field.

Vibratile materials: oriented to projects that direct their attention to non-human materialities, new ecologies and assemblies beyond anthropocentrism.

Expanded looks: focused on multimedia proposals that transit between experiences linked to Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Videogame, Experimental Cinema and interactivity.

We have 5 accommodation and transfer scholarships within the country, aimed at facilitating the participation of artists and researchers who move from other regions of Chile (only one scholarship is contemplated for residents in Santiago).

Proposals for presentations on artistic research-creation projects (finished or in development) and theoretical proposals (essay, analysis, case studies, etc.) will be received.

Each participant will have between 15 and 20 minutes to exhibit.
