Grantham foundation, Launch of the 2027 Call for Projects – Grants and Residencies. It is with great pleasure that the Foundation officially launches its 2027 Call for Projects. Year after year, our programs support ambitious projects that promote the interconnection between the visual arts, architecture, and the environment.
eligibility:
The program is open to visual artists residing in Quebec, Canada, or abroad, with a minimum of five years of professional experience.
Submitted projects must be consistent with the Grantham Foundation’s mission and objectives. By visual arts, the expert committee refers to practices that are recognized as such professionally: photography, installation, sculpture, painting, graphic arts, and performance art, as well as sound, digital, and media arts.
Duos are eligible, and the conditions remain the same.
Artists from abroad are asked to note that they are responsible for completing the administrative procedures required to enter Canada and remain in Quebec for the duration of their stay.
The 2027 Call for Projects are divided into three categories:
Visual Arts Creation Awards ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 (depending on the scope of the project), accompanied by a one-month residency at the Foundation;
Visual Arts Research Award of $5,000 to $10,000 (depending on the scope of the project), accompanied by a one-month residency at the Foundation;
Creation and Research in Architecture Award of $5,000 to $10,000 (depending on the scope of the project), accompanied by a three-week residency at the Foundation.
