Concrete-Constructive Art Award Call

Leo-Breuer-Förderpreis 2026. The Landschaftsverband Rheinland (LVR) is awarding the Leo Breuer Prize this year. In memory of the renowned painter and designer Leo Breuer (1893–1975), the prize, endowed with €5,000, is aimed at artists of all disciplines whose works represent a current examination of the concrete-constructive.

An expert jury will decide on the awarding of prizes. The Rhineland Landscape Association will present the Leo Breuer Prize on the 21st. September 2026 at the LVR-Landesmuseum Bonn.

By applying, the applicants agree that they will be available for the receipt on this date in the event of the award. The prize is associated with an exhibition in the Gesellschaft für Kunst und Gestaltung e.V. (gkg) in Bonn, which is to be opened a few days after the award ceremony.

-Applicants of all nationalities are admitted.

-The application must include the name and address (with e-mail address and telephone number) as well as information on the artistic career, an exhibition directory or any other form of proof of past activities.

In addition, folders, if necessary Data carriers and up to three current catalogues to clarify artistic development should be submitted, with a focus on the activity of the last three years. The documents can only be refunded if a stamped return envelope is included! We ask you to refrain from sending parcels!
