Künstlerhaus Marktoberdorf Call for Proposals Summer Exhibition 2026. For the first time, the Künstlerhaus Marktoberdorf is publishing an open call to revive the museum’s premises in the summer of 2026 with an eight-week experimental exhibition and an innovative supporting programme for visitors. With this open call, an exhibition window of the house is to be designed by an external team of artists and/or curators, which realizes a contemporary and experimental art project.
The open call is aimed at actors from all arts who either have experience in curating themselves or apply as a mixed team (curators and artists). There are no restrictions on age or place of residence. The teams or individuals apply with a curatorial concept as well as an implementation idea, which they can realize independently in the rooms. All or only selected exhibition spaces as well as the exterior surfaces of the Künstlerhaus can be used. Information on the premises can be found in the documents provided.
