The Rumpenheim Palace Park is one of the early German landscaped gardens, which was created in the style of English landscaped gardens. In the theory of the English landscape garden, the paths have an important function: like an adventure trail, they open up the park to the walker in all its diversity.
KUNST.PARK RUMPENHEIM opens up the topographical features of the park, takes up the important visual relationships. In this sense, the art objects in the castle park resume the historical idea of the visual axes and the guided walking experience and link it to modern works of art. The castle park becomes an artistic adventure trail KUNST.PARK.
We want to promote interesting perspectives and artistic development and make it visible and tangible for citizens of our place, the city and the region, positions of current art! The KUNST.PARK 2026 is awarded to promote artists with outstanding ideas, concepts and talents and to make them publicly visible with their work.
The association Kunst.Ort.Rumpenheim e.V. awards three prizes:
1. Price: 2,000 Euro
2. Price: 1,000 Euro
3. Price: 500 Euro
